Three Sisters

The Three Sisters are Corn, Squash and Beans.  Each relies on the other.  Here is the Autumn Harvest, with yellow birch, Indian Corn, Fall colors are on Sacred Lantern Hill.  This is a re-creation of the Ancient and Yearly Harvest, with the hand-woven Headband Basket, and other pieces painted from originals in the Tribal Museum The Portraits are of present-day Tribal Members, wearing the clothing that their great, great, great Grandmothers would have worn . 35.5 x 29  Appraisal $9,000.
